The Annual KIIM-FM 1,000,000 PENNY PITCH To benefit Arizona Children's Association     Every year KIIM-FM raises money for Arizona Children's Association during the Christmas season. The goal every year is to collect a minimum of 1,000,000 pennies ($10,000).  With help from people throughout our community, KIIM-FM has raised almost $25,000 each year. Over 2.5 million pennies!  All the funds raised are used in the KIIM-FM Family Emergency Fund that is used throughout the year to assist families who are receiving counseling services from Arizona’s Children to meet immediate financial needs.  Some examples of how the funds are used to help families:    Buy new tires for a family car so that children can get to doctor appointments and parents can get to work  Pay for one-time rent or utilities so that a family is not evicted or without power   Provide a special activity for a child that will benefit their therapy     Your help is needed!  Bring in your pennies (and other silver coins too!) and help make a real difference for a child or family in need!
